I used this book back in the mid 90's when I went to Disney World with a boyfriend and his daughter. The coverage of each ride and attraction helps you get acquainted with the features and layouts of the parks so you can determine what is a "must-see" and what is merely "meh". Once you have your list in hand, select an itinerary and most importantly, follow the guidelines on timing! We followed the plan at Epcot and literally waltzed onto every ride and attraction with no waiting whatsoever. You might want to dilly-dally around and explore, but every minute you waste in this fashion means standing in some dreary line, so stay on the schedule! Following the plan, however, can be a little grueling so take the author's advice and plan for days to relax in between visits to the parks. We were so tired after Epcot that the next day we got a late start to the Magic Kingdom and saw maybe 1/4 of the attractions we wanted to, with literally HOURS spent standing in line. I realized then just how brilliant and necessary this book is if you want to get the most out of your Disney experience. You will NOT regret this purchase.
