I have never read anything by Brandon Mull before, but I had heard of the Fablehaven books. My son and I are huge fan of the Ranger's Apprentice books and this came up as a "recommended" item, so I ordered it. I read it all the day the I got it and passed it on to my son (he's 11) who read it all the next day. Very easy to read, very hard to put down. I was SO disappointed when it came to an end. Now I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment. In the meantime, I've started the Fablehaven series. Definitely recommend!
