Before reading the book I knew I would like it, I just didn't know how much I'd like it. I was unsure, which was weird for me.


But I LOVED Paranormalcy !

The main character, Evie, is obsessed with pink, she has a pink taser named Tasey, and she works for this bag and tag paranormal agency, and whenever she says a bad word she bleeps - I love the bleeping.

I love that there's this giant world of paranormals too! There's obvious vampires (not sexy vampires though), werewolves, faeries, and a hag. I honestly didn't know what a hag was until it was explained. And my first thought of a hag was ew.
Back to the faeries though. I love the way Kiersten showed how clever/dangerous the faeries are. Reth is constantly figuring out loop holes of how to get out of "named commands" or use the command to his advantage. Then there's Lend, the shapeshifter.

There's so much fantastic stuff in Paranormalcy and I can't wait for book 2 - Supernaturally - so I highly recommend this book because if I wasn't laughing I was blown away by awesomeness.
