I read this book on the recommendation of our therapist to help understand my daughter's behavior. It was very painful to read both sides of the trial, both from the parent's perspective, but also from the child. It was a page turner as you struggle to find out how it ends and if there is hope for your own situation.

There were times when the messages were just too powerful and I had to put the book away for a few minutes, it's that good.

I am a father but there is great insight into this tale of a mother & daughter going to hell and back for anyone that is related to someone with these problems.
