Your Invisible Power is one of the earliest and most inspirational books of 'New Thought.' It is small in size but huge in stature as well as in the impact it has had on millions of people. It teaches you, in simple terms, how to effectively use the power of visualization for your own betterment.

I have studied psychology, spirituality and metaphysics for over 25 years. This is one of the best books I have ever read related to Christian Metaphysics. It gives very practical advice that one can immediately use. It also goes more deeply into the meaning of it all and points the reader toward true prosperity.

Behrend knows what she is talking about. This is not only a book of metaphysical recipes to manifest anything you want to be or to have. She explains what is Truth and how/why it works.
Knowledge is essential in order to boost your practice and get results. This is a concised course, a very dense reading full of treasures.
If you are new to the Science of Mind teachings, or the New Thought teachings as to how your thoughts create your world this book is a must have. Ms. Behrend takes you right to the heart of manifesting "things" or conditions that you want in your life. It is a must have for any metaphysical library.
The book is very short and as a result does not go into great detail in theory or specific examples. While I agree with the principles of visualization, if this had been my initial exposure to the subject I would have dismissed the idea.
Ms. Behrend leaves out specific details which would add to the power of the book. She cites an example of Tyson from Australia who dreamed "to make the desert land of Australia blossom as the rose." But she gives no real background on who Tyson is and how he became a millionaire. Further she gives no specific information on exactly what he did to make Australia blossom like a rose.
In another example she talks about the doorman at her apartment building who visualized receiving five dollars. Could she not come up with a more powerful example than that?
You might gain some additional insight from reading this book. However, in your search for greater insight into mind power, I would suggest some more powerful books. The Power of the Subconscious Mind, As a Man Thinketh, Mind Power for the Twnety First Century all come to mind.

I've only read the first few chapters and put it to use, and already I see the results.
Don't be fooled this is not some hocus-pocus occultic stuff, in fact it is the direct opposite (as stated in the book). You are simply applying law, such as you would apply the law of physics or the law of gravity to do the task.
This law was laid out by the Creator of the Universe, whose Divine intelligence goes through all things and is the Father of all things which came to be. This is the same principle which you father into reality that which you attract, by impreganting with your thoughts the elements around you.
On a side note, already from reading this book just a bit, I have become truly aware of the workings of other universal and divine laws (that I had studied previuos to this) which governs us, such as the law of prosperity, the law of blessing and curse (similar to karma), the law of redemption, ect.

This is a really inspiring book. It gets you focused on your dreams and goals with very simple to understand directions. I encourage everyone to read and apply the information with a spirit of enthusiasm and watch your life change!
Ive been researching and studying Mental Sciences for a few months now, and of all the books I have purchased, this is by far the very best. Whereas there are a couple of parts that you may need to read over a second time to understand what she is saying in it, it is by far the most amazing read to date. I will keep this book and re-read it often...
This is one of the best books on visualizing and the use of the Law of Attraction I have read. I have read the book a couple of times and each time I learn something new and also new about myself.

If you are a follower or a believer in THE SECRET this is one of the books that gave it the power and the foundation of all the principles written in the book. It is strongly based on the details of mental science and that "you become what you think about." Truly a powerful book. If you want to begin living the life you always wanted and obtaining all your heart's desires this a good place to start. A very quick read. I have read it several times.
The power of the human mind..this is the topic the author discusses with great skill and insight. She writes from EXPERIENCE having already proven to herself from personal experience that the power she writes about is not only real but even more powerful than mankind has previously understood. "The proof is in the pudding" is the frame of mind she writes from, and anyone who invests in this book will be extremely pleased with their decision for having done so.
Anyone looking to expand their mind power and connection to the Universe to get what you want, this book is for you! Practical and very readable. It has really helped me to understand the principles from The Secret so much more.

The principles are all there in a fairly simple explanation. The book is short. It explains we are creators, not only of our own reality, but of the physical universe too. Dwell upon money, in a visual sense, and the force of our will and energy makes the money appear as though it was always there, waiting for us to decide to take it. The principle applies to anything, not just money. The book bends the principles to suit your heartfelt desire. I think what impressed me most was the book was written in 1921 or thereabouts and shares the same charm that current day self-help books share: you want something and you can make it appear through force of will and belief and help from divine guidance and knowledge. It is very believable. I was impressed.
So why not 5 stars? Because it's very short and not entirely complete in the development of the ideas. If you want an executive view it works well. Or it might just leave many questions like it does me.

I found this book extremely interesting. Written in an 'easy to understand' manner, with a powerful mind exercise to follow It explains our awesome invisible power of our minds/thoughts. I've read it several times and have made notes throughout the book. I've already given a copy to a friend - and she loves it as well.
