Just What I Needed for My Studies on The Kindle
When you are reading on any give page you have no idea what book of the Bible you are in because it appears no where on the page. So you either have to page back to the beginning of the book to see what it is or return to the index and go to where you want from there.
I bought this version with hopes of being able to get through with little problems, not so. While using it in bible study, verses were missing, yes missing. I turned page and it was a new chapter. Navigating is horrible, you have to go to table of contents and flip through to chapter and verse and when you need it quick this will not work. I do not recommend this verse due to poor navigation.
I had such hopes for this as it touted navigation simplicity. It is not simple. Rather it brings my Kindle to a screeching halt when I try to navigate, usually requiring rebooting. I have over 700 books on my Kindle and this is the only one that does it. Hard on a girl to delete the KJV from her Kindle, but that is what I am going to do.
I was looking for a e-Bible for my Kindle so I wouldn't have to lug my actual Bible around. Anyways, I've found this one is pretty good, sure it take a little longer to get to the scriptures this way than to just turn to them in my Bible. But if you make sure to keep it on the Table of Contents, select old or New Testament, go to the book of the Bible, then you select the chapter, and then you finally skip pages until you find the verse you want. Sounds difficult, but once you get the hang of it it doesn't take long.
Excellent Bible Which is Faithful to the King James Version
This is an excellent Bible which is faithful to the King James version. The King James version was a translation of the Greek manuscripts and as such did not rely on capitalizations and italics. Unlike St. Jerome's Vulgate which came from the Latin, the King James attempted to be as faithful as possible to the original texts.

I think this is the best Bible available on the Kindle store. Thank you Amazon for giving us a Bible that does not cost too much and which allow us to learn and to worship the Lord with his Word.

Perfect and Complete King James Bible Which Works Flawlessly
I am very happy with this purchase. I can now replace my hardcover Bible with this Kindle King James version. The King James I find is a much better version than the more trendy translations that come and go. This version was delivered very quickly and I found it very easy to use with the interactive table of contents.

Brilliant Literature and Book of Faith
This was a very good bargain. I saw a program on PBS about the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible and so I decided to actually sit down and star reading it. I was more than impressed by the words, they are truly profound and as moving as anything I have read in my adult life. This is a very good value, and browsing is very easy to do with this volume.

I purchased this Bible to read on my Kindle device as I am finally planning to read the entire Bible, after years of saying that I would. I have begun with Genesis, and I am loving it so far. The words are just beautiful, as if taken from Shakespeare. This is the anniversary year of the King James Bible, and it is no surprise that this is the bestselling book of all time with over 5 billion copies printed.
This Kindle version works extremely well and it is very easy to read. Navigation is simple and the table of contents is fully interactive unlike in the free Bible that I downloaded before. All in all, a great King James Bible and a terrific price.

This is a great bargain, and it should belong on the bookshelf (kindleshelf?) of every Christian. For $0.99 you can't really lose. This is the real King James Version, and the table of contents works!
I purchased this bible and tried a search. No matter what I tried I was not able to search and locate a specific chapter and verse. I think that is an important feature to have in a Kindle bible.

I bought this Bible as a student, to read. It is easy to navigate (I was worried, witht he low price, that the Table of Contents would not be hyperlinked, but it is) and a good usable text. My only problems with it are twofold. First, the title and author are unnecessarily long, and it is not possible to change them even in how they are displayed. I personally find this irritating. Second, I have been using the note feature on my Kindle extensively with this book. I don't know if it has to do with the ebook or the Kindle, but after a few notes my Kindle began freezing when I started adding notes. I switched to my computer and it doesn't freeze, but now I can't get all my notes to sync. All in all, though, I can't complain for such a quality $0.99 ebook.

OUTSTANDING! MADE ME LOVE READING THE BIBLE FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!
This is the real KJV and I am very happy to have it on my Kindle. The great thing about having this Kindle version is that I can look up words in the built in dictionary as I read. That is one of the things that always put me off reading the Bible in the past, namely while the words were very beautiful, I did not always know what some of the Old English terms meant. Sure I could try to look them up in a dictionary, but that took time, and I certainly did not want to carry around two heavy books (Bible and Dictionary) wherever I went.
But now, I can have it all in such a small package. Now reading the Bible is a true joy, and I really love it. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I can't believe the price for the real King James Bible! Just priceless ... for just $0.99!

Beautiful book for a beautiful price
This is a beautiful book at a truly beautiful price. Thank you to the publishers for making this available at such a low price. Don't pay any attention to some of the negative reviews, many seem to be written by atheists who like to just mock Christianity. I can understand that they have different beliefs from me, but to mock someone else's religion, in my view, is just shameful.

The only down side of the search function is that if you enter a word in search it presents a list of quotes but does not give the book that it is in. It references the verse by the seq. number on it's list.

I was reading Paul to the Ephesians and shocked when I realized that when referencing Jesus in the letter, all the reference (he)(his)

In a small Israeli town, life was simple for a teenage punk (Jesus Christ) who falls for a lovely cheerleader (The Virgin Mary). But one night, there's a strange meteorite which crashes outside of Bethleham with a weird pink goo that consumes an old man's hand. Taken to the 3 wise men, the weird slimy stuff is really alive for it's a monstrous organism called God that devours any creature or person that stands in it's way, can He be stopped?
Quite an awesome remake of the 10,000 BC's sci-fi/horror classic, "The Epic of Gilgamesh" that is just as good but with a new explanation on God's origin as He is a government experiment from space gone wrong. The acting is very good and so are the nifty special effects and gory detailed scenes of people being engulfed by the slime from God's bunghole, especially the baby Jesus being sucked down the sink scene, God Himself is more nastier and meaner looking then the original Gilgamesh of legends past.
This book has good picture and writing quality with the only extras being God's "Fu-Man-Chu" mustache. If you love sci-fi horror and Gilgamesh then get this book, you won't be disappointed.
Also recommended: Anal Intruder's 13, starring John Holmes.

A story about a bunch of hippies
I got this book thinking it would be full of god's wrath and the striking down of the innocent out of sheer amusement of our creator and instead found it to be a story about a bunch of hippies wandering around the desert preaching love and respect for mankind and other hippie dribble.
I mean it ends with a bunch of right wingers nailing one of the hippies to a cross (that part was pretty cool)...... he didn't even fight back..... what kind of draft dodging flower child sissy garbage is that.

The King James Version is probably the worst
If you were to research anything about the history of Biblical criticism and development, The King James Version of the Bible, "The authorized version" is probably the worst translation of all time. The Message paraphrase is even a better translation because at least it admits that it is just paraphrasing. The King James Version was created off of the worst manuscripts that we have and in FACT, the King James Version that we have today is not even the original that was written centuries ago. Rather, it has been re-translated off of itself...making it even less accurate. The only thing holding this translation going is tradition. There is honestly no reason to get this translation when you can get the ESV for FREE, and it is much more accurate.

I wished to return to the KJV, since the writing style causes me to THINK, and then write my own interpretations. I had downloaded samples of a lot of Bibles, but was not pleased with the formatting. I downloaded the sample for this version to my PC, and quite liked the tabbed Chapters.
I put the Bible and Daily Meditations, Devotions in the same Collection. Then, I can quickly open up that days reading, press Home, Right Click on the Authorized King James Version Holy Bible for Kindle title, Search for Book Name, Click on Chapter, and I am there (I like to read the whole chapter, it puts more meaning into the verse being studied).
Highlighting and Notes are a breeze on the Kindle, and can be shared with the kindle.amazon.com page, and the Kindle for PC.
After reading the Chapter, I back out of the Bible, and return to the days meditation.
Because I've used up my book allowance for the month - I am using 2 study guides: Daily Strength for Daily Needs, very good to inspire my own notes and writing; and Craving God eBook, which can be useful for inspiration, but not as good as the Daily Strength. However, I am quite willing to spend the $1 for this book.
For the Money, you can't get better than this. Thanks Christian Miracle Foundation Press.
